UNDERSTANDING FAITH
Hebrews 11:1 KJV states that,
"Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen."
This means faith is the spiritual capacity in things hoped for, the spiritual ability in things not seen.
But many christians think that faith is the spiritual capacity or spiritual ability in physical things.
But the above scripture doesn't tell us that faith is the spiritual ability in the things of the physical world, but the spiritual ability in the things of the spiritual world.
When you have faith in the invisible reality of God's word it means you possess and experience the spiritual substance of that reality. And the fact that the invisible reality is tangible to you, that becomes your evidence, and that's what faith is.
And when an invisible reality becomes spiritual substance to you, that's when it can now materialize into physical substance or physical tangibility.
If you couldn't produce results in the physical world, it's because there was no it's tangibility in the spiritual world, which is your proof of what you're hoping for.
And that explains why faith can only work and increase by revelations in God's word. It's because you need to understand God's word and how it works from the scope of the spiritual world and not from the scope of the physical world.
If you study God's word from the scope of the physical world, you won't need revelations to understand it, but if you study God's word with the scope of the spiritual world, you will need revelations to understand it. Most christian churches teach God's word from the scope of the physical world, that's why even though they study the bible from Genesis to revelation, the working and the growth of their faith is still limited.
Faith ability is a spiritual force in it's very nature, and therefore it can only be discerned and operated from the things of the spiritual world.
The source of revelations does not really come from praying, fasting, confessing and studying God's word, but they come from the unseen realities of God's word in the spiritual world.
Our praying, fasting, confessing and studying God's word should be directed to those unseen realities so that we can spontaneously get the supernatural light and ability of getting acquainted with those invisible realities.
It is not right to assume that your faith will increase by studying the written word. It is the revelations of the word you're studying that increases your faith.
The revelations of the written word are simply the written word in it's spirit form.
Faith does not increase because of knowing something from God's word that you didn't know before. Faith increases as a result of receiving God's word in it's spirit form.
Learning something new from God's word only develops your faith capacity, but it does not increase it.
Living from the spiritual world itself is a miracle because it requires the little faith that you have to practise that. Many christians live by their natural senses, but if you're conscious of learning to seeing and hearing what others cannot see and hear in the spiritworld through the invisible light of God's love-word, you'll eventually increase the faith to acquire what others cannot.
The knowledge between a christian and God's word is the spiritworld.
Now, the greater light about the force of faith is that it is the living force of love by it's very nature.
When our spirits fail to see the spirituality of God's love in anything of God's word, we miss the whole point, because the word proceeds from Love Himself.
