IT'S IMPOSSIBLE TO EXPERIENCE GOD'S LOVE PHYSICALLY
Ephesians 3:19 states that, "[That you may really come] to know [practically, through experience for yourselves] the love of Christ, which far surpasses mere knowledge [without experience]; that you may be filled [through all your being] unto all the fullness of God [may have the richest measure of the divine Presence, and become a body wholly filled and flooded with God Himself]!"
The love of God is a spiritual entity. There's no way you can experience it physically. What we can experience physically is the outcome of His love but not love itself. Likewise, doing christian things is not love, but it is the outcome of that love, otherwise, many good things that many christians do today in the name of love is actually selfishness in manifestation.
What our opening scripture is saying is that, 'that we may really come to know practically through spiritual experiences for ourselves the love of God which far surpasses the mere love that people have for God.
God doesn't want us to love Him with mere love. Mere love is religious love. It is a kind of love that we show God but God can't experience it.
God is Spirit. The only way God will experience love from us is when our love comes from our spirits, and that is genuine love towards God.
And God is seeking just such people as these to love Him.
1 John 4:19 states that, "We love Him, because He first loved us."
Interestingly, the very way that we love God because of loving us first is the very way we can increase loving Him by experiencing more of His love from our spirits.
That doesn't mean that God has different measures of love towards us depending on how much each one of us loves Him, no. God's love towards us is infinite, but how much we think, talk and act towards His immeasurable love towards us is what makes our spirits experience more of that love.
The love that our spirits experience from God is what produces in us genuine love that which God can experience it from our spirits.
And that is the love that overflows towards other people's spirits.
Our love towards God is determined by how much we know Him, not just because of what He can do for us but because of who He is.
So many christians today love God based on the general knowledge that they have about Him, but not the personal knowledge that they should have towards Him.
The gravitas of a relationship towards someone you know personally is not the same with the person you only know what people know about him or her.
3 John 1:11 states that, "......He who does good is of God; he who does evil has not seen (discerned and experienced) God [has enjoyed no vision of Him and does not know Him at all]."
How much spiritually empowered you are in being committed to be good towards God depends on how much personal experience you have with Him. And this kind of revelation knowledge comes through your consistent fellowship with Him.
To know the love of God by experiencing it with your spirit is what it means to know the love of God by revelation.
LOVE LANGUAGE
The joy and peace of God's love is continually filled in my spirit by believing through the spiritual experience of that love as my force of faith, and that by the power of the Spirit of love I continually abound, overflow, bubbling over with love as the learning and practising force of faith and the teaching and training force of faith towards people's spirits, in Jesus' name!(Romans 15:13).
