STEPS FASTING

You can't grow in fasting if you fast because you are trying to make God do something for you. Our reason for fasting should be to improve our spiritual level about His teaching and training ministry. It is better to exercise short fastings that will eventually carry you to long fastings, than try doing long fasting which is likely to be temporary. Short fastings can start with skipping single meals daily, not for physical adaptation but for faith growth.
