THE MIND AND THE KNOWLEDGE OF GOD
THE MIND AND THE KNOWLEDGE OF GOD(1)
1 Corinthians 2:15-16 states that, "
[15]But the spiritual man tries all things [he examines, investigates, inquires into, questions, and discerns all things], yet is himself to be put on trial and judged by no one [he can read the meaning of everything, but no one can properly discern or appraise or get an insight into him].
[16]For who has known or understood the mind (the counsels and purposes) of the Lord so as to guide and instruct Him and give Him knowledge? But we have the mind of Christ (the Messiah) and do hold the thoughts (feelings and purposes) of His heart. [Isa. 40:13.]"
There's a difference between the knowledge of God and the mind of God, even though both of them operate as one thing.
The knowledge of God is the ministry of God's word and the mind of God is the ministry of the Holy Spirit.
The knowledge of God is the ministry of His word inform of logos which involves the totality of the information of the scriptures.
The mind of God is the ministry of the Holy Spirit inform of rhema. The ministry of the Holy Spirit is the mind of Christ.
John 16:13-15 states that, "
[13]But when He, the Spirit of Truth (the Truth-giving Spirit) comes, He will guide you into all the Truth (the whole, full Truth). For He will not speak His own message [on His own authority]; but He will tell whatever He hears [from the Father; He will give the message that has been given to Him], and He will announce and declare to you the things that are to come [that will happen in the future].
[14]He will honor and glorify Me, because He will take of (receive, draw upon) what is Mine and will reveal (declare, disclose, transmit) it to you.
[15]Everything that the Father has is Mine. That is what I meant when I said that He [the Spirit] will take the things that are Mine and will reveal (declare, disclose, transmit) it to you."
The mind of Christ is the essence of your spiritual mind which enables it to be aware of the spiritual world and their experiences, to meditate and feel through your spiritual sensations. It is the consciousness of the human spirit through God's knowledge.
1 Corinthians 2:10-13 states that, "
[10]Yet to us God has unveiled and revealed them by and through His Spirit, for the [Holy] Spirit searches diligently, exploring and examining everything, even sounding the profound and bottomless things of God [the divine counsels and things hidden and beyond man's scrutiny].
[11]For what person perceives (knows and understands) what passes through a man's thoughts except the man's own spirit within him? Just so no one discerns (comes to know and comprehend) the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God.
[12]Now we have not received the spirit [that belongs to] the world, but the [Holy] Spirit Who is from God, [given to us] that we might realize and comprehend and appreciate the gifts [of divine favor and blessing so freely and lavishly] bestowed on us by God.
[13]And we are setting these truths forth in words not taught by human wisdom but taught by the [Holy] Spirit, combining and interpreting spiritual truths with spiritual language [to those who possess the Holy Spirit]."
Meditation involves a reasoning and thinking process of your spirit to acquire thoughts that keep on running as a mental process through God's mind, especially of the things beyond human intelligence.
God may communicate His thoughts to your spiritual mind through His voice or through a force that just opens up your spiritual understanding on something that makes you aware with your spirit that you know what you know. And this kind of knowing comes with peace and joy indescribable.
The mentality of your spirit should be patterned by the influence of the Holy Spirit and the environment of your spiritual world through the scriptures.
It is the mind of Christ that defines and identifies the will and the supernatural intelligence of your spirit.
