HOW TO DEVELOP FASTING ABILITIES BEYOND NATURAL POSSIBILITIES

Many of our spiritual models from the bible lived a fasted life, and that kind of lifestyle materialised   the existing grace of the spiritual world into a physical state. And this was possible because they began to materialise their physical life into the spiritual world, so that the spiritual world can be more real in the physical world. But such kind of grace can come through fasting, especially when you can fast beyond what is humanly possible.

In order to develop such a fasting ability, your fasted life should be determined by revelations, which is the direct guidance of God's Spirit about your fasting. You need to pray so that God can always show you dreams and visions about your fasting and exercise prayerly meditation over them. You really can't expect God to help you about your fasting if you're not conscious enough to know what He says about your fasting, or else, living a fasted life will be burdensome to you, and you may fail to live a fasted life at all. Yet 1John 5:3 and 4 states that, " '3' For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments. And his commandments are not burdensome. '4' For whatever is born of God overcomes the world; and this is the victory that overcomes the world, our faith." Now, faith works by invisible facts which are revealed to us by revelations.

Job 33:12-18 states that, " '12' Behold, in this you are not Right. I will answer you. God is greater than man. '13' Why do you contend against Him, saying, `He will answer none of my words'? '14' For God speaks in one way, and in two, though man does not perceive it. '15' In a dream, in a vision of the night, when deep sleep falls upon men, while they slumber on their beds, '16' then He opens the ears(spiritual ears) of men, and terrifies them with warnings, '17' that He may turn man aside from his deed, and cut off pride from man;

He keeps back his soul from the Pit, his life from perishing by the sword."

We normally think that God hardly speaks to us, but He does always because God doesn't want us to be unaware with what we should do with our fasting. God also wants you to be disciplined enough in dreams and visions so that He can help you remember the dream or vision you had. Learn to write down every dream or vision that you get after inquiring from God about your fasting, and begin to practically participate with them. It's important to write them down. Imagine if people in the bible didn't write about their spiritual encounters with God, we wouldn't have a bible today and life would be terrible. But the way God related with them at bible times has no difference with you at this time. He is the same God and the word He personally reveals to you doesn't make it any lesser. It gives an equal impact as that of bible times. So you've got to deal with revelations as the word of God.
