GROWING IN THE WORD OF GOD

The Father knows when you are spiritually a grown up. Then, He can allow you to have anything you couldn't have before. That's why Galatians 4:1-3 states that, " '1' I mean that the heir, as long as he is a child, is no better than a slave, though he is the owner of all the estate;

2 but he is under guardians and trustees until the date set by the Father.

'3' So with us; when we were children, we were slaves to the elemental spirits of the universe." The word 'heir' in original greek translation is 'nepios', meaning infant or a spiritual babe. This is someone who's spiritual sense of sight, hearing, touch,taste and smell is limited. Generally speaking, this is someone who's spiritual understanding that comes by revelations of God's word is still immature. This kind of person is still in bondage with his five physical senses. And so he still feeds on the basic teachings of the scriptures. His faith is not yet able to fully understand and therefore accept deeper spiritual information.

In most cases, when people ask something from God and don't receive, or not receive in time, they wonder what is wrong with their prayer. But this is because they are not trained enough in the things of the Spirit. Hebrews 5:14 states that, " But strong meat(solid food) belongeth to them that are of full age( matured), even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised( trained) to discern both good and evil." The type of senses the word is talking about is not your natural senses, but your spiritual senses. Because Galatians 5:16 states that, " This I say then, walk in the Spirit and ye shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh"

Having whatever you desire from God is big authority. This is alot. It means so much. Your spiritual senses must be well trained so that you learn how to use this authority. Many christians are tempted in using their authority to hurt themselves and others. They want people to know who they are. They are even trying to use their tongue to make their angels deal with those that offend them. That is carnality! They think they are very born again such that they can curse in the name of Jesus. We don't do that! But it's because they don't understand spiritual authority.  James 3:8-10 states that,
" '8' but no human being(or natural ability) can tame the tongue--a restless evil, full of deadly poison.
'9' With it we bless the Lord and Father, and with it we curse men, who are made in the likeness of God.
'10' From the same mouth come blessing and cursing. My brethren, this ought not to be so."  The greatest power of faith comes from love. The love way is the right way.  1 corinthians 13:5 states that, 'love is not arrogant or rude. Love does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful;'.  We've got to be like Jesus. But as long as your natural senses can handle you, you can't handle your spiritual senses. And if you can't handle your spiritual senses, you can't handle your spiritual authority. Love is the major trait of your spiritual maturity.

Collosians 1:9&10 states that, " '9' And so, from the day we heard of it, we have not ceased to pray for you, asking that you may be filled with the knowledge of His will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding,
'10' to lead a life worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing to Him, bearing fruit in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God." When the bible talks about being filled with the knowledge of His will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding, it doesn't mean one day, we will know everything like God. Even angels don't know everything like God. God's knowledge is infinite. There're always higher levels of faith everytime we receive revelations. But just like the angels, we will be given God's knowledge that will be an access to all spiritual wisdom and understanding. It means, we will be brought to a point where all spiritual wisdom and understanding is exposed to our spirits.
But that doesn't mean we will have it when we get to heaven. The bible shows us that it is by prayer. This is revelation knowledge, which means it exists with the things of the spiritual world.
Spiritual wisdom is insight into invisible realities. Your acquirance of all of this wisdom depends on your exposure to all invisible realities. And this is not possible if your spiritual senses are limited. Therefore, the knowledge that will lead us in all spiritual wisdom and understanding is the knowledge based on the unlimited function of our spiritual senses into invisible realities.

We can pray and fast to get this kind of revelation knowledge. If your fasting is limited, you can fast to get more revelations on how to fast beyond your faith limitations. When we fast for the purpose of receiving the necessary revelations on how to fast beyond our fasting challenges, our spiritual mind is renewed by that revelation knowledge, which will give us the same fasting ability Jesus had when He was led by the Spirit in the desert to fast for 40 days. This is how we imitate Jesus.
Romans 12:2 states that, "Do not be conformed to this world but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that you may prove what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect." The original greek word for 'transformed' is 'metamorphousthe' which means spiritual metamorphosis. Spiritual metamorphosis, is a change that occurs in the human spirit in terms of form and glory. This is a spiritual transfiguration that occurs as it was to Jesus on the mountain in Mathew 17:1-3 when He was appeared by Moses and Elijah. The process of spiritual transfiguration is what induces a strong influnce from our spirits to practically participate with the revelations we get. And that's where the level of our faith capacity to do what we could not do increases.
