UNDERSTANDING THE SUPERNATURAL
Mark 10:15-16 shows us to deal with the kingdom of heaven like children. Good learners and explorers in the kingdom of heaven have attributes of children. They always ask God questions about the invisible things in relation to how those things function from the scriptures and have a sense of wonder to the power of His love. They have this curiosity...'who, what, where, why, when and how.' They never stop asking God questions just like a 5 year old kid.
One of the most important things about seeing the invisible is that it teaches us to question even those things we thought we knew. A spiritual man has an extra ability to learn from a physical question than a natural man can learn from a spiritual answer. Unless you pray in tongues, everytime you talk to God, you only repeat what you already know. But if you listen to Him, you may learn something new. The best way to understand God is to listen to Him.
In your relationship with God, the first duty of love is to listen to Him. And be careful how you listen to Him because sometimes, He uses a voice with no words in it. It takes God's Spirit to understand what is in God's heart that is not explained enough in words. Listening to what God has to say about things we cannot see, hear and touch is a creative force that makes us see, hear and touch the invisible.
God's voice unfolds, expands and materialises our experience of the invisible world. Even after studying the scriptures, you've got to listen to God so that your spiritual knowledge and capacity on the scriptures can develop. It all begins with being sensitive to how He speaks to you.
