UNDERSTANDING THE LOVE OF GOD
UNDERSTANDING THE LOVE OF GOD
Sometimes as christians, we miss God's order of things. God is a God of order, and order gives meaning to things.
Forexample, all around the world, many people tend to confuse the order and think serving God and helping others makes faith work.
But Galatians 5:6 doesn't say faith works through serving God or helping others. But it clearly tells us that faith works through love because ministering to God and helping others is not love, but it is the fruit of that love.
Love itself is a spiritual force that serves as a sure guide of God's word in our spirit. That's why you can give without love, but you cannot love without giving.
Not understanding the right order may account for the reason many serve the Lord and give help to others, yet, their faith progress of achievement is limited and it largely becomes a waste of time and effort.
What they don't understand is
1 Corinthians 13:3 which states that, "Even if I dole out all that I have [to the poor in providing] food, and if I surrender my body to be burned or in order that I may glory, but have not love (God's love in me), I gain nothing."
So faith works through love. And if love doesn't work, faith will not work as well, no matter how much faith you have. Love begins working for your faith when you use it as a spiritual force to minister to God and help others through the teaching and training ministry of the Spirit of love. When love works it grows. And the more love grows, the more your faith grows and work even better.
Nevertheless, love is faith itself.
Faith honours grace the most. Grace honours love the most. To walk in love is to walk in faith and grace. Love is the bond of perfection(Collosians 3:14).
When you're filled with love, you're filled with all the fullness of God.
