USING THE POWER OF PROPHECY

Acts 2:17 states that, "And it shall come to pass in the last days, God declares, that I will pour out of My Spirit upon all mankind, and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy [telling forth the divine counsels] and your young men shall see visions (divinely granted appearances), and your old men shall dream [divinely suggested] dreams."(Joel 2:28).

Prophecy without revelation is empty. When I prophesy to you, I maybe using the gift of prophecy or  the office of a prophet. When I start telling you how to get there, that's the word of wisdom. If I locate something from the spiritual world for physical manifestation, am using the word of knowledge.

There's a difference between the office of a prophet and the gift of prophecy. The office of a prophet is  a predictive prophetic word, because this kind of prophecy foretells, it does not forthtells.
There's a difference between foretelling and forthtelling.

To foretell is not to declare what you'd wish to happen, but it is to reveal a destiny of what will happen either with or without you,  by making those circumstances and their consequences known to others.
Forthtelling is speaking the word of God with power. For example, When I forthtell about the growth and development of  my fasted life, I decree, I predict a higher level of fasting that I would wish to do, then am using the gift of prophecy. The gift of prophecy requires my participation in my declarations for a higher level of fasting so that it can enable me  and cause me to fast beyond human limitations.
In other words, if I do nothing about my fasting declarations, my fasted life will remain limited.
So what should I do about my declarations? I should pray or even fast and decree for more ideas from God about my declarations, so that as I receive more revelations on how to succeeed my declarations, I increase faith substance to my words, so that I speak words of greater annointing.

The bible says that everyone who is a christian has the gift of prophecy. The gift of prophecy is not necessarily the office of a prophet. You can have the gift of prophecy and you're not a prophet.
The office of a prophet is a predictive prophetic word, because this kind of prophecy foretells, it does not forthtell.
