MAKING YOUR PHYSICAL BODY A LOVING SACRIFICE TO GOD
MAKING YOUR PHYSICAL BODY A LOVING SACRIFICE TO GOD
Romans 12:1-2 states that, "
'1' I APPEAL to you therefore, brethren, and beg of you in view of [all] the mercies of God, to make a decisive dedication of your bodies [presenting all your members and faculties] as a living sacrifice, holy (devoted, consecrated) and well pleasing to God, which is your reasonable (rational, intelligent) service and spiritual worship.
'2' Do not be conformed to this world (this age), [fashioned after and adapted to its external, superficial customs], but be transformed (changed) by the [entire] renewal of your mind [by its new ideals and its new attitude], so that you may prove [for yourselves] what is the good and acceptable and perfect will of God, even the thing which is good and acceptable and perfect [in His sight for you]."
We can see the application of the above scripture from the book of 1 John 5:3 which states that, "For the [true] love of God is this: that we do His commands [keep His ordinances and are mindful of His precepts and teaching]. And these orders of His are not irksome (burdensome, oppressive, or grievous)."
We can see the foundation of this scripture from the book of Luke 6:47-49
Which states that, " '47' For everyone who comes to Me and listens to My words [in order to heed their teaching] and does them, I will show you what he is like:
'48'He is like a man building a house, who dug and went down deep and laid a foundation upon the rock; and when a flood arose, the torrent broke against that house and could not shake or move it, because it had been securely built or founded on a rock.
'49' But he who merely hears and does not practice doing My words is like a man who built a house on the ground without a foundation, against which the torrent burst, and immediately it collapsed and fell, and the breaking and ruin of that house was great."
Now, this scripture is not talking about a righteous person and a sinner. It's actually referring to two righteous people who hear the word, and what they do about it under the same circumstances of life.
For example, when you use your fasted life to fetch spiritual information from God's Spirit in relation to the efficiency of your fasting ability, and in taking advantage of that information, there's no any physical challenge or biological complication that will shake the extent to which you'd want your fasting to go. No hunger, thirst or body weakness will succeed limitting your fasted life.
You should build the foundation for you to live a fasted life, you should build it everyday until the function of all of your spiritual senses and spiritual sensations are unlimitted. Your fasting should be found upon a solid rock. When your fasting has no foundation, you cannot live by it everyday.
Your condition about fasting is the way it is today because of the words you heard about fasting, putted them to work, the thoughts that came about your fasting and your corresponding action towards them, and the kind of experience you feel each time you fast.
If you have not made up your mind to live a fasted life, you'll be limited in acquiring the necessary spiritual information that should unlimit the function of all of your spiritual senses and spiritual sensations, which would grant you unlimitted and full participation with the spiritual things and the spiritual beings of the spiritual world in the realm of light.
You produce more assurance in your spirit to unlimit the function of all of your spiritual senses and spiritual sensations if you only fast more for God's word at fasting long enough to unlimit the function of all of your spiritual senses and spiritual sensations, as you act upon God's word by revelation.
The inability to fast long enough is as a result of ignorance about the solid reason behind fasting.
Fasting expands more of your knowledge in God's word in fasting long enough to unlimit the function of all of your spiritual senses and spiritual sensations. This is why, Ecclesiastes 11:3 states that, " If the clouds are full of rain, they empty themselves upon the earth; and if a tree falls toward the south or toward the north, in the place where the tree falls, there it will lie."
The clouds is the faith you have. If you continuously feed it with the spiritual food you get through fasting, it will grow to the point that it can do anything in this universe.
Your spiritual senses and spiritual sensations can also help you acquire any worldly knowledge which would be humanly difficult to acquire sometimes.
