The general and acceptable will of Love is subject to the perfect will of Love

PREVAILING LOVE Romans 5:5 states that "Such hope never disappoints or deludes or shames us, for God's love has been poured out in our hearts through the Holy Spirit Who has been given to us." The love that is poured in our hearts can continue getting poured in our hearts through hearing, and hearing by the Word from the Spirit of love. Love doesn't come by having heard the Word on love, but by hearing and hearing by the Spirit of love. The emphasis is on “hearing,” that is, the continued bombardment of your spirit with the Word of God in the light of God's love. That’s what produces prevailing love, the force of love that always produces results. 2 Thessalonians 1:3 states that, "We ought and indeed are obligated [as those in debt] to give thanks always to God for you, brethren, as is fitting, because your faith is growing exceedingly and the love of every one of you each toward the others is increasing and abounds."
