THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN GOD'S WORD AND LIGHT The light of God is not a spiritual symbol. The light of God is something that you can see with the eyes of your spirit and feel it with your spiritual sensations. When we talk about light, we are actually referring to the spiritual form and energy of God's word. When you see the light of Love(God), you're seeing the form of His word, and by feeling it's energy, you're feeling the word itself. The problem of many christians today is that they only deal with the information of God's word instead of dealing with the form and the substance of that word. It is the light energy of God's word that develops into faith in your spirit. Psalm 119:130 states that, "The entrance and unfolding of Your words give light;..." I tell people that love is not the works you do, but the essence of the works you do.  You can't measure the love of God by it's works, but by it's tensile nature. The tensile nature of love is the amount of the faith-force of love in your spirit. And then we have the strength of that love. How strong is the spiritual force of love in your spirit? It has nothing to do with works. The works of love are the result of how far your force of love can go, but it is not love itself. John 3:16, 'For God so loved the world....that is the essence of love. That He sent His begotten Son..... that's the work of love. So that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life.... that's the impact of His love.' You can only see and experience the love of God spiritually.
